  4. Macy - I'm not sure - a friend sent it to me and you can find it in this form on the internet but not for sale....sadly!

Taz - yours is great too - just more nicely expressed than mine!

NSM - Don't we all! There is another really good thing which is a list of sayings by Bill Gates, one of which is "Life isn't fair - get used to it" I intend to stencil it on the walls of the teenagers' bedrooms...

  5. Sad I know but I sometimes want to be teenaged again....no worries no bills no muffin top or wrinkles...just youth and a looking forward to life attitude! at someone elses expense!
ps this is great and you can buy it as a card...

  6. Hi Libby - I wish teenagers could just appreciate how great their life is at the moment, but all they seem to want to do is to grow up as fast as possible. Completely agree with you re the muffin top, the bills and the wrinkles! Will look out for the card, and buy dozens when I find it!

  7. You didn't have to link to me but thanks hon.
My 16 year old put it all into perspective the other week when I was trying to reassure here that it wasn't the end of the world with exam stress she said "But it's all I've got to worry about in my world Mum!" :)

  8. Taz - credit where it's due and all that! If only exams were all we had to worry about...lol

  9. Yeah if only, last one tomorrow thank god. She's just spent longer than it would have taken to go herself, hinting for me or her wee sister to go get her some She seems to forget that we remember when she's been mean to us LOL

  11. Love it. I lost 1 to uni last year but she's decided that she didn't like the real world so much and is moving home and will commute to uni next year!!!

  12. I have very little experience of teenagers (other than when I was one), but I'd take a stroppy, feckless, know-it-all teenager over an anodyne compliant drone any day.

And no, you may not remind me of this statement when The Boy Wonder turns 13.

    :)

  13. AG - they keep bouncing back, don't they? It feels like our son never left home - he keeps appearing every weekend to play Cricket with his local club...

  14. Andy - you beat me to it...you will live to regret that statement. There have been many times over the past few years when I would have cheerfully traded either one of mine for a compliant drone!
