Welcome to my somewhat jaundiced view of life, the universe and everything. A sort of 'My Family and Other Challenges'. If we were a film, it'd be 'Meet the Feckers...'
Yep, looks familiar! I sometimes get to the point where I daren't open the lid the food inside is so chemically unstable so just throw the whole box out.
If it's in a plastic container and in our fridge somehow it is invisible to everyone. Shamefully though (for us) I found our cleaners bagging up some old apples in our garbage to take home...That's why I don't get those organic boxes.
So true! I have a cupboard full of lids and boxes, none of which seem to match.

ReplyDeleteIt always makes me feel good to fill the container with leftovers - and guilty when I throw the contents away a week or so later!
ReplyDeleteTrish - Me too - and they drive me mad when I open the door and they all fall out...
ReplyDeleteYES YES YES!
ReplyDeleteSarah - I completely understand - but I only feel justified in throwing food away once it's green and furry...
ReplyDeleteHF - see my reply to Sarah - we obviously have a lot in common!
Also time spent sniffing it to check if it's still usable... or is that just me???
ReplyDeleteMacy - yes - there's always that moment when you open the lid to a gust of something stinking...

ReplyDeleteJody - you are so right. I think there are a couple of Japanese soldiers hiding at the back of our fridge who don't know that the war's over...
