7 billion and you

The increase in the population of the world has been much in the news of late.  Apparently, it will reach 7 billion souls sometime next week.  As if that wasn't mind-boggling enough, I came across this interesting little gadget on the BBC website.

See where you fit in the great scheme of life, the universe and everything....

What number am I?

  1. Wow, that makes me feel terribly special and individual. Must pass it onto my kids - they love placement in numbers. Jackson reckons he is going to do an I-phone app that shows how many days, hours etc you have lived. Hotcakes, I tell you....

  2. Wow, kind of scary to see how much the population has increased just in my lifetime. Cool little site though, thanks for linking. (Found you through the BritMums blog hop)
